Project Overview

  • Integrations | We were met with a unique challenge early on regarding the customer’s existing middleware between the site and their ERP, Sage. We were able to assist in solidifying a long-term solution currently in progress, but the capabilities of Unilog’s platform allowed us to continue without a direct integration into their ERP. We also integrated with Paya, a payment gateway not integrated with the Unilog platform previously. Leveraging this integration still allowed us to make online checkout possible and seamless for both the retail customer and ISS’s team. We also included their existing chatbot, Olark, in the integration as well.
  • Product Data | ISS went live with 189,324 items on their site and continues to grow. The approach to getting all the product data on ISS’s website was a combined Unilog and ImpaqX effort. The customer provided us with great data that allowed the team to get those items displayed properly before go live.
  • Design | ISS provided their design requirements and branding guide to kick off the initial design. They provided valuable feedback on their expectations that were reflected exactly how ISS requested.

  • Consolidate to a single website  | We successfully consolidated four active retail sites into one cohesive website for Industrial Service Solutions (ISS), improving customer experience, enhancing product content, increasing their digital marketing footprint, and minimizing their administrative burden to help them focus on business growth.
  • Tax | integrated Avalara to automate and streamline tax compliance, ensuring accurate tax calculations and reporting for the client.
  • Chatbot | impaqX successfully implemented Olark’s live chat and chatbot platform, enhancing customer engagement and support capabilities for the client.
  • PayPal as aTender | integrated PayPal as a payment option at checkout, providing customers with a convenient and secure way to complete their purchases.
  • Seamless Checkout | implemented a seamless guest checkout process that collects necessary information during checkout and gently encourages users to complete their login by providing a unique password.
  • Autoship | to enable automated and efficient shipping processes for the client, impaqX integrated Autoshipping capabilities so the users can setup and manage regulary purchased items without having to reorder over and over again.
